Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to open Park Hyatt Mexico City in a 30-story Polanco tower in spring 2027. The property will expand the group’s luxury hotel portfolio in the Mexican capital.
Park Hyatt Mexico City will include 38 suites
The hotel will offer 155 guestrooms and 38 suites, including a two-bedroom Presidential Suite.
The room inventory will place both standard accommodation and larger suites in the same property. Further details about room layouts, interior designs and guest services have not been announced.
Guests will be close to Chapultepec Park and major museums
The hotel’s Campos Elíseos location will overlook Chapultepec Park and sit near the National Auditorium.
Chapultepec Park combines walking trails, gardens and museums in one of Mexico City’s main cultural and recreational areas. The hotel will also be within walking distance of the National Museum of Anthropology, Museo Tamayo, Museo Soumaya and Avenida Presidente Masaryk.
That setting puts several established visitor attractions near the property without requiring a separate journey across the city.
Event facilities will cover more than 8,500 square feet
More than 8,500 square feet of meeting and event space will accommodate business functions, celebrations, weddings and community gatherings.
The facilities will include a grand ballroom and an open-air terrace designed for receptions. The total area is equivalent to about 790 square metres, although Hyatt has not released individual room capacities or floor plans.
A rooftop pool, Mexican art and four dining venues are planned
Guest facilities will include a rooftop pool, a spa, a curated art collection and four indoor and outdoor places to eat or drink.
Tezca Spa will base its treatments on pre-Hispanic knowledge and Mexican traditions. Hyatt has not yet detailed the treatment menu.
Arte Abierto, a nonprofit organisation founded by SOMA, will curate the hotel’s contemporary Mexican art. The collection will feature work by Mexican artists including Damián Ortega and Michelle Aubert.
The food and drink spaces will comprise a specialty restaurant, an all-day dining venue, a modern Mexican concept and cocktail bars. Menus will draw on regional Mexican flavours, while the bars will serve spirits and agave-based drinks.
The brand is building a three-property Mexico lineup
The Polanco property will join Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and the forthcoming Park Hyatt Riviera Maya in the brand’s Mexican portfolio.
The new hotel gives the group a planned presence in the national capital alongside its other locations in Mexico.
Travellers should wait for booking details
Prospective guests should wait for Hyatt to publish the exact opening date, room rates and reservation availability before relying on the hotel for a trip.
Those details have not been announced. Travellers considering a visit around the launch period should therefore keep their accommodation plans flexible, while event organisers will need confirmed operating dates before scheduling a function at the property.
